Guitar lessons in English

I currently offer lessons to individuals on a one-to-one basis. Lessons take place at my home in central Saint-Germain-en-Laye

I specialise in teaching beginner and intermediate guitarists who want to play rock or pop music on either the acoustic or electric guitar. If you are beginner I tend to teach the basics of the guitar first and then adapt the lessons to suit the student’s favourite genre of music, whether it be rock, pop, metal, blues or jazz.

I offer lessons during the week and on Saturdays. I teach students for either 30 minutes or 60 minutes once a week. The lesson timetable follows the school calendar, so when the schools are on vacation, so am I.

Lessons are currently 30€ per hour. The lesson rate includes learning material which I produce.

I offer a free consultation with prospective students (and a parent if the student is under 18) at my home for them to see where the lessons are conducted and to ensure that both parties are happy to proceed. It is an opportunity for me to discuss the lessons and find out more about the student’s musical interests and what their goals are in terms of their guitar playing. I like to tailor my lessons to give the student the material and songs that they want to learn.

Lesson policy

1. All tuition fees are payable in advance of the scheduled lesson(s).

2. Lessons will start and finish on the scheduled times.

3. Lessons can be cancelled by the student providing 24 hours notice is given.

4. If 24 hours of cancellation is not received and the student is unable to attend the lesson for any reason, the full fee for that lesson will be forfeited.

5. Lessons cancelled by me will be carried forward or refunded.
